Renaissance 'Putti' Cherub Pendant Necklace, Copper, Bronze or Sterling Silver Handmade Angel Jewellery

Inspired by the winged figures found in Renaissance sculpture, this pendant takes its design from the small cherub-like figures that became a familiar part of European art during the Renaissance.

Known as putti, these winged children appeared in both religious and decorative art, often incorporated into sculpture, altarpieces and architectural details. Their meaning varied depending on the setting, but they became one of the recognisable motifs of Renaissance art.

Each pendant is handcrafted from your choice of pure copper, solid bronze or sterling silver. No two are exactly alike, with small variations in the design adding to the character of each piece.

It hangs from a 1.7mm sterling silver curb chain with sterling silver jump rings.

The pendant measures approximately 2.4cm
